Nintendo’s biggest gaming event of the year is happening next month in L.A and it is sure to be a hit with fans of the company and hopefully those outside of gaming circles. Over the years Nintendo has changed the names of its E3 format and Reset Era member Delete12345 has listed them. Here’s what they have been called:
- Nintendo Direct: E3 2018
- Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017
- Treehouse
- Nintendo Digital Event @ E3 2015
- Nintendo Digital Event
- Nintendo Direct @ E3 2013
- Nintendo Direct Pre E3 2012
Thanks to MasterPikachu6 for the tip.
“Treehouse” lmao
I didn’t realise E3 only started in 2012.
Nintendo stopped their traditional press conferences in 2012. I think E3 is going on its 15th year.
E3 is 23 years old
Weird thing to post
The name “Nintendo Direct E3 2018” is now removed on Nintendo’s E3 website.
||My segment will be called Nintendo Command You E3 20XX…||
Nintendo Digital Event @ E3 2015 should be renamed Nintendo’s Digital Event of Disappointment @ E3 2015.
Nintendo’s Digital Event of Disappointment @ E3 2015 But At Least The Puppets Were Great.
Fixed.
One of these years I think there should be an explanation for why Nintendo has forgone these Press Conferences since 2013. This though is a 2nd with E3, having it’s presentation be in a Direct, may we hopefully have a good amount of first time reveals in it.
If they can announce the Next Official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks for the Switch being in development during this presentation then I’ll finally consider getting a Switch myself, therefore it can put aside my worries about these Switch Ports of Wii U Games.
