One of the big releases for the Nintendo 3DS next month is the Wii U port of the charming Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It has been revealed that the Nintendo 3DS version of the game will display the same image on both the top and bottom screen. Those worried should be relieved to hear that it was the same with the original Wii U version so it’s nothing to be concerned about.
I’m seeing double! Captain Toad on the 3DS uses the same image on the top and bottom screens. Interesting. pic.twitter.com/P3mFMIqkmn

………why?

… Why put it on the 3DS if you’re not even gonna use the 3DS’s most important features!? This is putting BotW on Wii U without any Gamepad functionalities all over again. Clearly this was put on 3DS just to meet some quota for 3DS support. :/
This is Sony style poor. Good for me i own Switch but i sorrow for Only 3ds owners.
Lover screen lifes, diamonds, coins counters is better and easy idea..
I always found it distracting when the screens were the same on the gamepad and tv (wii u). This is way worse too :(
Made sense for Wii U because it was the easiest way to make playing without a TV work. On 3DS it kind of just feels lazy.
We already knew this. It was shown off in original reveal trailer
Okay I was interested but not anymore. Seeing double would be insanely annoying :/
