Site News: Contact Form Now Open And Site Comments Open To Everyone

This probably didn’t warrant a new post but I decided to do so anyway for the sake of those who may have missed the social media post. The comment system is open to everyone provided they fill in a username and an email address. This means no more having to sign up for a WordPress account which I knew from you was problematic as it wasn’t clear how to do so. The comments have a word filter and it may need adjusting. This means that some of your comments will say ‘pending’ which means myself or someone else will have to manually approve them. Sorry about that, but it needs to happen when it’s not just registered users commenting.

Secondly the contact form is back so if you need to get in touch with us you can. I did temporarily close it due to an influx of spam and PR emails. It’s now open and we will reply back to you as soon as possible. So if you’ve got any concerns, or there’s a game you feel needs writing about, we will do our best to do that.

Any other questions or whatever fire off in the comments section and I’ll do my best to answer you! :)

    1. We are using the WordPress commenting system and it’s the latest version, but sadly there is no option for users to edit or delete comments. It’s only the authors of the site that can do that I’m afraid. I understand it’s frustrating. If you want a comment deleted then you can contact us using the contact form at the top of the page!

    1. Very well thank you. I’ve been enjoying Hollow Knight and Stardew Valley, and am looking forward to Ghost 1.0 and 20XX.

WOOOOOOOOOAH FINALLY, IM FREE. Been a long time reader on this site, didn’t hassle myself with an account even though all the interesting characters on this site make it tempting. No more spectating for me.

  4. Obecnie często z marketów delikatesowych możemy nabyć artykuły eko. Chociaż bywają one droższe od standardowej żywności, nieustannie rośnie na nie moda.

  5. What was your reason for doing this? I’m genuinely curious because I’ve had some mixed responses on my own blog posts and I’m not sure whether or not doing the same will deter people from commenting on my posts altogether or if I can do the same thing to filter out spam without consequences. What’s been your experience thus far?

  6. This was a mistake.

80% of the people who have been able to comment because of this have been trolls and, for lack of a better term, bullies. I’d like to pseudo-formally request that we shut this down again. I don’t know where else to request it.

I understand that there will be people who will no longer be able to partake in actual discussions, but I have seen little to no actual discussion from these people. Users are mocking each other, calling each other names, cursing each other out. It’s like we’re all in jr. high school and we’re all too immature to have a peaceful exchange of ideals and opinions.

I know that there’s a difference between being realistic or critical and being rude and a bully, but most of these commenters have been the latter. In order to prevent our comments sections from becoming any more toxic, I suggest we close comments to those without WordPress accounts. Thank you for taking this into consideration.

  7. I haven’t seen any ‘rude’ comments but then again we have ‘China’s’ freedom web protecting you from cradle to grave.
