The Nintendo Switch’s video capture feature can be useful, but not every game on the console supports it. The latest example of this is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which releases tomorrow. A Twitter user has provided a screenshot that indicates that the game will not support video capture. Their screenshot and tweet can be seen down below.

Nintendo should allow it on all games, since the video capture feature could be useful in regards to reporting/sharing glitches players find in games.
Just saying the video capture feature does have a useful aspect to it.
Other than that, yeah it is purely an optional thing, but it does suck for games that do not support it.
Just buy a capture card then. lol

not up to Nintendo the developers of the game just didn’t put support for video capture on it they can always do an update to the game and add it later if fans of the game want it let the developers know through social media or something
It’s not about N allowing it, the N allows all devs to implement this feature. If they don’t, their fault.

It should be the opposite, and have developers request for it to be off

It is most likely licensing issue.
Bayonetta wont record when ever fly me to the moon or moon river is playing on background, and moon river was Bayo 2 theme, which Nintendo funded.
