Our new president will make Nintendo better than ever
he better, we already had the Wario of CEOs previously, we don’t want a Waluigi
I don’t compare the presidents by the characters
Exactly. He will do just fine.
I really hope they change the way they do things going forward. I don’t like being drip fed content for what feels like an unfinished game. I’d rather spend my time unlocking that content. In Splatoon’s case it worked. Fire Emblem: Warriors, ARMS, KIrby: Star Allies and Mario Tennis: Aces on the other hand, not so much. (I know Warriors isn’t made by Nintendo.)
With some of the things Furukawa has said there are a lot of red flags and warning signs. I just HOPE I’m wrong.
Kirby Star Allies and Mario Tennis Aces are not made by Nintendo also.
A lot of that appears to have made very little sense. I guess I was just too deep in my own head to realize.
The reason I listed those games (and didn’t point out that Nintendo’s internal studios weren’t the ones developing them) is cause Nintendo still has control over how or what games (using their IPs) are made within these studios, and even have some of their own employees step in and help them. HAL and Camelot work closely with them so the design choices (the ones I’m worried about) are really up to Nintendo in the end. While the same could be said for Koei Tecmo (Team Ninja, etc) it seem like there’s much more distance and freedom between the companies, but I dunno, maybe that’s just me.
why would you state a game that you KNOW isn’t made by nintendo as being an issue? two other games you mentioned also are not made by nintendo, merely published. this greatly decreases the value of everything you have said
Even if they aren’t directly made by Nintendo, they are still 1st party games so Nintendo has ultimate control. In other words, you can criticize them for letting these devs reveal too much as Nintendo can tell them to shut up.
||Lord Furukawa, let me reassure again my loyalty… ||
I think that you all should stop complaining while he is working harder than ever trying to deliver the best possible gaming experience for you all.
Too early to say. Going in blind is a great way to get stabbed.
He’s a genuine gamer though, so I’d say be cautiously optimistic.
Furukawa has a kind face. Looks like a nice guy. I wonder if he speaks any english? I’m always wishing someone could fill Iwata’s shoes with the Nintendo Directs, and speak to the fans like he did.
As a matter of fact he is! I remember reading that he’s fluent in English.
I hope he changes Nintendo’s policies on Youtubers. It’s free advertisement Nintendo!
Anyway, hopefully he’ll be a good president.
The 3.49 percent who disapprove should be removed.
Please be all the best qualities of the previous Nintendo presidents but none of their bad qualities.
I know this is petty so you can blame my OCD on it but this banner is horrible, he looks like he’s been decapitated.
The new CEO will make Nintendo GREAT AGAIN.
(I’ll let my self out)
