Some more Japanese data has been released by Dengeki Online. Splatoon 2 is very popular, and Dengeki’s data reveals exactly how much it is. As of July 2018, Splatoon 2 has an attach rate of 56.78% in Japan. This means that 1 in 2 Switch owners have bought Splatoon 2. For comparison’s sake, the game had an attach rate of 55.68% a year ago, when the game launched.

Why is this a surprise? The original Splatoon had a similar if not higher attach rate in Japan.
