Isao Moro, who was the co-director of Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS, has revealed via Facebook that he has left Nintendo. There doesn’t seem to be a reason for his departure, perhaps he wanted to do something new. We would like to wish Mr. Moro all the best with his latest venture.
Great News, maybe they can find someone now who has some passion and motivation to make an new game.
They better keep Isabell or I’m not playing it
This is actually great news to hear!
Finally, we can get some proper Animal Crossing games for once ¬_¬
ACNL was by far the best installment of the series, so I hope they got their best ideas into AC switch before they departed. Are they staying in the gaming industry? Would be interesting to see what they contribute to any future projects.
Best game? Absolutely not. The addition of public works and additional furniture is nice, but the expense of neutering the villagers and NPCs was too high a cost. Half the animals seem like they are high on valium after losing their edge. Snooty villagers in teh first AC game wouldn’t spit on you if you were on fire. Cranky villagers were better off avoided. And Phyllis…don’t get me started!
You should always spay/neuter your pets to prevent overpopulation.
Bruh chill. Leave opinions to opinions. I think New Leaf is a great game too. Each game had interesting qualities, but New Leaf was the most updated in terms of features and graphics. Let’s just wait to see what the Switch version brings.
He must have told himself: “I leaf”
Sorry not sorry ^^’
The fact that it’s so dumb makes it hilarious. Comedy is subjective dude (not dependent on IQ).
Why don’t you make like a tree and get out of here
…I laughed…
Here’s hoping he finds success in whatever he chooses to do next!
What are you? The fucking comment police? People can wish someone success without some jerk off giving them a hard time.
I think it’s same guy or girl who change his username very often and writes those type of comments

I played acnl for 5 years the Islands are full of dark hackers bad language and very rude people. If you join groups you find raid towns that give all free. People don’t have to work for items. Its great to help beginners but
not to give them everything. Groups don’t
in force rules. I am on break waiting to see if
Nintendo will do anything to improve the game.I have witnessed adults trying to get
Children’s address and number. This is
Illegal on computers why does Nintendo
allow it.I love acnl but it needs an upgrade
with new rules.I called Nintendo many times
They say nothing can be done. Will they find a way if children are injured or killed!?????
They’re not going to keep updating the 6 year old New Leaf game, what’s happening with hackers and such is just a problem to Nintendo believing that New Leaf is as popular in 2018 as it was in 2012 (news flash, it’s NOT).
A toxic island sounds like a fun time.
Animal Crossing New Leaf is still my favorite AC game. I would love to see another installment in the series soon!
unfortunately, bad language and rude people is pretty much par for life, online or otherwise. Considering that the original Animal Crossing game came out in 2001 – when i was eight – it’s only fair that i would still be playing the games now as a 24 year old adult. as for the hacking, that sort of thing only ruins your game if you accept the items you’re being offered. You don’t have to take it if you don’t want it.
There really should be something that they can do about predatory behavior, though. I guess my advice for now is to make sure that parents are keeping track of what their children are doing on the internet and who they’re talking to.
Wrong person.
Ummm…
keep waiting, Nintendo has this idea that the mobile will spur popularity, ignoring the fact that the mobile app has dropped in popularity (yeah, a mobile game less popular now will make AC:Switch more popular, great logic)…
You’re not wrong.

I feel like that’s a bad thing for AC.
