Bandai Namco has today shown fans the first look at the upcoming Digimon Survive for the Nintendo Switch. The company says that the game is a “survival simulation RPG” Digimon Survive is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019, so we’ve got a while to wait!

I loved Cyber Sleuth, but I don’t know. The graphic style in combat did look a bit cheap in my opinion. Have to see more before I settle on this.

I’d like to see a Digimon game where you aren’t in control of the Digimon, just the human. During battles, you can send energy and shout out suggestions, but it will be less effective if you haven’t been working on your friendship with your Digimon. Friendship is such a big part of the shows, but not really used in the games.
Digimon World on PS1 had pretty much this system in place.

I miss Digimon World 3’s 3D models for battle, oh well. Can’t wait for the battle royale mode for this game.
