  1. So you gotta buy the physical drums accessory, but they won’t make a physical game over here? If you want the game physically, just hope the Japanese version has English options for now

  2. Nooo! That is incredibly inconvinent. Just give me the game physically and in America and I’ll buy it. But not now, not here.

  3. Was sooo tempted to buy it when I visited Bic Camera in Akihabara last week… but instead I got a set of steering wheels and the Pearl and Marina double pack Amiibo… both dirt cheap compared to Danish prices. :)

By the way… the drum accessory is really expensive, even in Japan.

  4. Isn’t the point of these games to use the drum accessory? Why isn’t that coming here? I feel like playing with buttons just wouldn’t be as fun. At least the Switch has the motion controls but it’s still not the same as having the drum.

    1. Of course having the drums is great, but if you’re not able to get a hold of them, be it for economic reasons or whatever else the reason might be, then the joycons function just as drumsticks and as the technology inside the Joycons is considerably better than the Wiimotes, you’re in for a hilarious ride. In theory you could use real drums or some toy drums from the local toystore and it would work.

  5. I was planning on getting it digitally anyways, so I’m fine with this.

I’m just glad the game got a western release in general.
