Annapurna Interactive has revealed that Gone Home is heading to the Nintendo Switch and you will be able to play it next week. The interactive exploration simulator is due to arrive on the Nintendo Switch eShop on 23rd of August and should prove to be a treat for anyone who hasn’t yet experienced it. Have a watch of the Switch trailer down below.
“June 7th, 1995. 1:15 AM. You arrive home after a year abroad. You expect your family to greet you, but the house is empty. Something’s not right. Where is everyone? And what’s happened here? Unravel the mystery for yourself in Gone Home, a story exploration game and award-winning debut from The Fullbright Company.”
I’ve worked this game out already.
Obviously you are not greeted by your family as there all in bed. It’s 1:15 in the morning man!
Spare yourself the walk through, just watch the story play out on Youtube, BAM! free.
Ick. This game is not good. The devs should be ashamed of themselves for trying to sell it as a horror game.
It was marketed as a horror game? I thought it was just an arthouse walking simulator that’s full of hot air?
Yeah that’s what the “game” ended up being but before it came out in 2013 it was marketed as a horror game.
That, in itself, is a little scary.
Booorrrriiinnng game.
If you don’t like artsy games or what amounts to a visual novel as it’s very story driven, Gone Home isn’t for you and you’ll probably consider it a boring game.
Not my type of game but I might try
Love me a good narrative adventure game.
