What’s the SP mean?
I’m guessing something about the online play, but I’m not sure.
Special Edition. In any case, I don’t know what is the difference with the normal.
It means Special Edition and it doesn’t have anything to do with the online because all games have been confirmed to have online so it will probably be new features or something like that but we’ll just have to wait for Nintendo to give details on them or until the first SP games release whichever comes first
Im guessing it means Single Player
When in old school game refers, its more probably to be “Super Player”,like harder edition.
At the very least, there’s some games on there that I didn’t expect, but I’m not impressed in the slightest with this online service. Nintendo is so frustrating sometimes, they make phenomenal games but then turn around and make the worst business choices possible
Off Topic here but…. image playing the Switch like that!
Oh my glob that’d be funny XD
Well fingers crossed we ever get beyond the NES on the switch I’d like to play some quality 64 and GCN content without having to shell out an arm and a leg for the more expensive games
I don’t understand why releasing a special edition of a game that is already added.
This explains why they went after ROM sites.
Let’s face facts, if the Switch wasn’t getting great games it would be a flop. The Wii U had better features but was brought down by the lack of compelling titles and long droughts. The Switch is getting plenty of games with announcements left and right almost daily, therefore it sells regardless of lack of online features or terrible voice chat (outside of Fortnite).
i don’t agree with that. I think Wii U had a much better lineup. They just didn’t put any effort into marketing the wii U. I think Switch has a terrible lineup (and it’s only survived on Wii U ports). The only way Switch has been successful is through a strong advertising campaign
Breath of the Wild*, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Odyssey in year 1. An amazing looking Smash in year 2 along with Pokémon Let’s Go. Luigi’s Mansion 3, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon Gen 8 in 2019. This isn’t everything either as there’s other smaller titles like Octopath and Mario Tennis that have been doing well and of course the ports along with third party games. I have a Wii U. The Switch shits all over it in terms of games.
*It may also be on Wii U and started developement as a Wii U exclusive but both versions released on the same day so I consider it more like a multi platform game. Nintendo was smart to release it as a launch title along with the Wii U version for owners that didn’t want a Switch yet.
Sweet list! I would have paid for the online service regardless…but this is just icing on the cake.
I was figuring (or more like hoping) Nintendo would’ve made their ONLINE SERVICE at least how the XBOX 360’s online was. Since they like being a generation or 2 behind the competition.
This shit here is just “inexcusable”. I mean, “….come on guys, really?” I can’t even sync up my SONY SPEAKERS OR HEADSET/EAR PIECE thru Bluetooth to my SWITCH😡😡😡
They’re really gonna force us to use that stupid ass buggy phone app.
Not to mention, “where are the NETFLIX, YOUTUBE & other apps?”
Once again this is Nintendo trying to guide the audience as if we’re sheep.
The sheep dog runs to the left & barks the sheep run to the right.
Smh…..
Poor form Nintendo. This is paltry.
is there some rights/licensing issue why they keep releasing Tecmo Bowl but not TSB? TSB is probably one of the top 3 most played NES games in our present day and it would move a lot of units if they ever released it.. original rosters would be just fine
