Official Nintendo Site Says Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn Will Only Work On New Nintendo 3DS

One of the surprises during this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation was the announcement that the adorable Wii title Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS next year with some additional features. The official Nintendo site has some more details on the game and it states that it will only be playable on the New Nintendo 3DS.

“The hit Wii game Kirby’s Epic Yarn is warping to Nintendo 3DS. Every stage in the original Wii version is stitched in, but this Nintendo 3DS version has some new features, like the ability to craft bigger yarn balls, summon bead-collecting wind and play two new modes featuring familiar faces King Dedede and Meta Knight.”

  1. I’m going to go out on a limb and say if anyone still has just a 3DS… They probably don’t play or want to play it much.

Anyone else who’s still play 3DS has no doubt upgraded to N3DS by now. I mean… let’s face it… The 3DS hasn’t been the most durable machine. I’m on my 4th.

      1. What I’m speculating is that anyone who regularly still plays their 3DS probably has a N3DS. I’m sure more people own 3DS vs N3DS but how many of those 3DS systems have been turned on in the last year?

      1. Sometimes I think they already know what Nintendo will show in their direct.

On January one of them said we will see Captain Toad and they got Captain Toad.

On June they said we will have Ridley and Daisy in Smash and they got it.

Now there were some absurd predictions AND STILL THEY GOT IT. My personal opinion, who have ever thinked the port of old FF games? I personally never thinked about this and also another member of GameXplain said “Probably we will see Wolf in Starlink” and then it happened.

With all the respect to them but it seems they have some insiders like Vergeben who knows everything about Smash Ultimate
