    1. Basically it’s been known for a while now that Telltale had really poor management and working conditions. Once their Walking Dead game became popular, they focused more on quantity over quality, trying to make more games which they couldn’t handle. The game engine they used didn’t even have a physics engine, so if they wanted something like a ball to drop in the game, someone had to animate it. The management also didn’t support creativity, so all their games were based on existing ideas, which cut into their profits hard, making it difficult to survive. They might have been able to survive if they had created an original idea. To top it off the 200+ employees got laid off without any notice, and they won’t receive severance. Some of said employees were literally hired a week ago. Once this Netflix Minecraft thing is done, the remaining 25 people will be gone as well.

  1. What a bunch of dicks! Telltale wanted to finish up the Walking Dead game series on their own terms, and they couldn’t even let them do that.

You know what’s worse than a cancelled video game? An episodic game that abruptly ends on a “cliffhanger” due to staff cuts.

    1. Well, perhaps you could bring your own money into the equation. Offer to pay to finish development. What’s that? You don’t have the money to support something like that? Especially not for a company that’s currently a proven money loser? Well what a dick you are! Telltale wanted to finish up the Walking Dead game series on their own terms, and you couldn’t even let them do that.

It’s not their obligation to throw their money away anymore than it is yours.

This coming from a guy who wanted to attack me for having an opinion?
Just because I feel bad that the series is cancelled doesn’t give you any right to force me to donate, and I’m not the one calling YOU names. The only ones I was calling names were the people who cancelled the franchise, which has NOTHING to do with you!

Don’t you go telling ME on how people should spend money.

  2. Maybe think next time when you wanna defend Microsoft. This is what you get if you invest your money in crap studios, pre alphas and stuff with no or bad history.

Only buy Nintendo games guys, the rest you wants to pocket you out. Go Pc for the rest. Your welcome !
