Nintendo Addresses Bowsette But Says It Has “No Comment” To Share

In New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Toadette can turn into Peachette by getting a Super Crown. Ever since Peachette was introduced, fans have been trying to recreate what Bowser could potentially look like if he ever got a hold of the same in-game item. They gave him the name Bowsette, who has recently been the main focus of Nintendo fanart all over the Internet and social media. Nintendo is aware of this made-up character but currently has no substantial words to share:

“Concerning the drawings and other things uploaded to the Internet, we have no comment.”

      1. It’s not official, it’s a different concept and turns peach into an evil “bowser-like” version of herself, not some genderbend male bowser/peach.

        1. The concept behind the drawings are different of course but the drawing idea of a mix between the peach and bowser stills the same. Just Bowsette has more peach traits like the blond hair and body, and on the official drawing there is more bowser traits as the red hair, the big hands, the dress color and so on. This official drawing shows that nintendo didn’t use this character on this particular game that doesn’t mean they will never use it, otherwise they wouldn’t even show it to the public on a official art book.

    1. If other people sadness , makes you happy you are doomed in the end anyways, be careful you don’t become the salty one in the end. little boy.

  1. I didn’t realize it was limited to Bowsette. Seems like I’ve seen many characters getting -etted.

Makes me long for the days of Eggette when people on the internet just drew fanart from an upside-down pixel art vs just taking any character and turning it into a busty princess.

I hereby ban all “-ette” pictures…. With the exception of anyone doing an Eggettette fanart. I’ll allow that.

    1. Okay whoever named Bowsette made a mistake. It should be Peachser or something like that.

      Toadette -> Peachette = Bowser -> Peachser

“Bowsette” should look like a Toadette-Bowser mix.

  3. “YOUR COMMENT IS AWAITING MODERATION.”

Oh no! Was what I said really THAT offensive?
I mean just as soon as I posted that comment it’s already awaiting moderation!
Can a comment be so bad that it would need moderation just ONE second after it’s posted!?

    1. Yeah. I think there’s a list of words that will automatically flag your post to be checked.
I also think maybe some article authors just blacklist you, maybe? No matter what you say, they wanna check and make sure you didn’t say something inflammatory? I’m not so sure about that one.

        1. I just asked it to test the triggering words, and the last word of my comment indeed triggered the “waiting for moderation.

    1. It is funny how a lazy way to explain Peach being playable (in a game where she needs to be rescued) blew up into this huge, unsavory thing.

  4. I love Bowsette’s concept but absolutely hate how sexual the connotation around it is. I’ve created a few -ettes myself; it’s pretty fun to imagine different Mario characters as Peach clones.

  5. “We saw people online posting pictures of Bowser turning into a humanoid girl after wearing the super crown. Please do not do that.”

      1. Nintendo didn’t “just” do it. It’s years old concept art that wasn’t even approved to get in the final game.

Hmm… Bowsette is actually kind of like if Sony put out their own Vitality Sensor but it clipped to your genitals.

        1. I know it’s not a new concept , it’s mario odyssey art after all. What i’m trying to say it’s that even nintendo though of that, and as the concept of a bowser/peach hybrid existed long time ago, if you read the comment above mine you will understand my answer. If even Nintendo thought of a thing like that why can’t the fans ?!

  6. The things that fangamers come up with are fascinating. Bowsette is officially a “thing,” yet she never truly existed at all. I love it XD

  7. I never understood the name. It’s Peachette because the item turned ToadETTE into PEACH, but by that logic shouldn’t Bowser’s Peach form be called Peachser?

  8. This makes me wonder about Bowser’s wife/girlfriend. I’m really surprised that Nintendo never created a female turtle-like character for Bowser to fall in love with. And if Koopa Kid/Koopa Jr/Bowser Jr. is really Bowser’s kid, who’s his mom? Nintendo needs to create a love interest for Bowser who’s not human.

    1. learn how to read between the lines, bowser’s girlfriend is peach, she is bowser juniors mom too however she seems to have refused to marry him and even dumped him in Odyssey, hence why mario pet his back…

      1. That’s your theory (or headcanon), though. Fan theories/headcanon does not equal official canon. (Whether we like it or not… *glares at the articles where Miyamoto reveals the Koopalings are not Bowser’s kids*)

  9. You give these companies way too much power, asking stupid questions like they care, the only they care is want they gonna sell you next so the investors don’t leave and they can’t pay of their big house anymore.

It’s time you guys start to grown up, man children really give Nintendo such a bad name

  10. I wonder what their opinions are on Sponge, Granddad, Fortran, Sonichu, RafaKnight’s Peach/Bowser daughter, Ben Drowned, Justin(e) Bailey, the PokeGods of Gen I, Blockhead Clefairy, Longchu, Travis (Mother 4), Brutus (Animal Crossing), and Reckless Safety Guy

If someone deleted this post before, I want to know why.
