Blizzard Wants To Add Cross-Play To Diablo III

A Blizzard Entertainment representative has told Business Insider that they are looking to eventually include cross-platform play to the forthcoming Diablo III on the Nintendo Switch so owners of other platforms can hook up with their friends and play together. While it won’t be ready at launch, it is something that the team is looking into at the moment.

“It’s a question of when, not if.”

      1. Hey, but you can play it now on the toilet … right ?
Well that’s what they want us to believe.

In real life you don’t sit on the toilet for an half hour and more, it hurts your legs. Things dry up, wake up dude.

Just stop with the PR talk, nobody going outside with the dog and start a quest for an hour on Switch.

    1. They could do it like Fortnite and have separate lobbies fore each platform and they only cross with the ones your friends are on. For example when I’m playing with friends on Xbox the only opponents we’ll have are also Switch and Xbox.

  1. This is the worst Diablo game of the three, nobody plays this anymore on pc, it’s even free on PC.
It’s well know by the pc gamers and Blizzard fans than Diablo 3 was a failure and the worst game on battle.net app.

But hey Those Nintendo fanboys are some special kind of breed and if it is on Nintendo it’s a 10/10 Amazing game.

Cash grab, ported from PS3, just like Payday 2

It’s garbage guys, trust me, save your money for smash or Pokemon.

    1. I like Diablo 1 and 2 on PC. And I played Diablo 3 on PC at launch and thought it was meh.

That said, i love it on my Xbox One. THey made a lot of amazing changes to the game bringing it to consoles that really improve the game, making it the best DIablo yet. I wihs they would remaster the other games in the engine of this one on consoles, and I’d play through all three games. It’s worth it.

  2. “even Overwatch is dying.”

If Overwatch is “dying” than 98% of all games people play every day are already “dead”. Come now, this is an exaggeration and you know it. Declining a bit because Overwatch was already HUGE does not mean it’s “dying”.
