The devil is literally in the details of a new Nintendo Switch bundle featuring Blizzard’s legendary game Diablo III: Eternal Collection, launching exclusively at GameStop on Nov. 2. Fans who pick up the devilish bundle will receive a Nintendo Switch system and dock featuring Diablo III artwork, a download code for the Diablo III: Eternal Collection game and a themed carrying case, all at a suggested retail price of $359.99.
Diablo III: Eternal Collection contains the full classic game, as well as all of its expansion content: Rise of the Necromancer and Reaper of Souls. In addition, fans who play the Nintendo Switch version will receive in-game items that are only available on Nintendo’s hit console. These in-game bonuses include a variety of items from The Legend of Zelda series, including Ganondorf Transmog Armor, a companion Cucco pet and a Golden Triforce Portrait Frame.
In Diablo III: Eternal Collection, players choose between one of seven classes, including Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, Witch Doctor and Wizard, to set off on a dark and memorable adventure to destroy demons and discover loot. The critically acclaimed game is hailed for its style and gameplay, which is perfect for playing on the TV or on the go using Nintendo Switch.

Oh, that was actually unexpected. Interessed to see if Diablo will push systems for them. They might just make a few for the collectors though.
They got my pre-order. I love Diablo III and I own the collector’s edition for PC as well as a copy on the PS4. I’ve been trying to sneak playing it at work during the slow hours but it’s too much work getting it to connect to Battle.net through the firewalls. With the Switch I could play it in offline mode without the headache and the graphics look nice and are modest enough that I can enjoy it without feeling like I’m playing a compromised version.
I forgot to say that you were on point with that call. I’m a collector and I preordered mine as soon as I read the article. While I like the Switch, I wasn’t planning on buying it for some time. I’ve never even held one in my hand. I only saw a student holding one recently and I thought it was a good portable size console.
Now there better be something for Metroid Prime 4.
There will be, but hopefully people won’t be restricted to a download code for the game and they’ll actually include it physically.
You know that’s too much to ask for. I’ll still buy a physical copy even if there’s a download code.
Wish they do this for DOOM Eternal next year.
Oh, that would be amazing!
This please
I could see a lot of Switches getting this kind of bundle treatment to keep the sales fresh and going.
I love the download codes. I own a collector’s edition of the game already, I don’t need another physical copy and I don’t want to walk around with multiple cartridges like I can’t afford a big memory card. I bought a 128 GB high speed card on sale last Black Friday specifically for the Switch.
I can expect an Overwatch bundle in the future
Went ahead and ordered one. Was looking at getting a second switch to give to my wife. Now, instead, I’ll get a new one and she’ll get the hand-me-down.
They going bonkers with the bundles.
I was expecting them to release bundles towards end of this year, but surprised they just add the game price to the console msrp.
I guess the console is selling so well, there is no need to cut prices, not even in a form of a bundle.
