Falcom is celebrating today as it has been announced that total sales of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, have topped 500,000 worldwide, which is quite some achievement. To celebrate this achievement the company has announced a “Christmas Gift Package” edition of the game for PlayStation 4 in Japan. This will arrive on the 20th of December for 4,800 yen.
“This special edition of the game will include two message cards with a product code to download an original PlayStation 4 theme with Christmas-style arranged background music and an avatar set. One message card is meant to be used for yourself, while the other is meant to be given to a friend as a gift for the Christmas season.”
Nice. I enjoyed my time with the game and I’m waiting eagerly for falcom to bring over the legend of heroes series to switch. I’ll take anything at this point lol
Have been meaning to buy it, but too many games, too little time.
This was one of my favourite games this year so glad it’s seem some modest success. We need more Ys games on Switch now.
This game is very fun. Very underrated.
