Nintendo has today provided updated sales figures for its biggest Nintendo Switch titles. The best-selling Nintendo Switch game thus far is the excellent Super Mario Odyssey which has shifted an impressive 12.17 million units. It is currently being chased by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which is the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game.
- Super Mario Odyssey has sold over 12.17 million units
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold 11.71 million copies
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has sold over 10 million units
- Splatoon 2 – 7.47 million units
- Mario Tennis Aces has sold 2.16 million copies
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has sold 1.67 million units
I thought Breath of the Wild would be at the top.
BotW is great, but not as mass-compatible as Mario (Kart).
It was on 2 platforms. I’m sure if you combine both Switch and WiiU numbers it did.
Perhaps but then you also need to combine Switch and Wii U numbers for Mario Kart 8.

i would buy it again but not for that price.
you can get thw same experience on Wii U for like 12 bucks at most gamestops.
