One title from Blizzard that many of you would like to see appear on the Nintendo Switch is online multiplayer game Overwatch. Eurogamer has published an extensive interview with Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan, during which, Mr. Kaplan was asked about the possibility of Overwatch appearing on the platform. He teased that the team are very open minded about the possibility of Overwatch for Nintendo Switch, which sounds encouraging.
Talking of technical complications: have you explored putting Overwatch on Switch (Diablo launched on Switch today)? Could it work?
Jeff Kaplan: Our philosophy has always been we want as many players playing Overwatch as possible, and we want to reach as many possible Overwatch players as are out there. We will always explore a platform if we think we could make it viable – both the technology and the business relationship. We would love to do it.
We don’t have anything to announce or any plans with Nintendo or Switch at this time, but –

A money grabbing online game where you do the same shit over and over and over and over again for years? Call me bored.
For me Blizzard is the best game developer on the planet after Nintendo. There games are always polished to perfection on par with Zelda and Mario.
The issue I have with Blizzard is their dodgy money-making practices. Loot boxes and microtransactions are common features of their games, with Overwatch being no exception. It is a great game though, as indeed are their other games like you say.
Micro transactions by now should just be accepted as either for you or not for you. played WoW since Burning Crusade and i’ve never needed to buy a Mount
(Although the color changing Chameleon Drake is pretty Epic) or Pet. I’m sure majority of Blizzard games run the same way. Personally i love Blizzard, enjoyed many of thier games.

I never spend any extra money on Blizzard games besides Hearthstone but thats a card game. And even there I rarely have to buy extra packs maby once or twice a year , wich is a normal price for a game you play nearly daily all year round.
Except the loot boxes in it are 100% optional and obtainable through just playing the game. Calling Overwatch a money grab is simply wrong. I put 500 hours into the game and never spent a dime after the initial purchase.

Hopefully they do someday. I’m pretty burnt out on the game, but it’s still good support to have.

I’d rather see them fix Ranked/Competitive first- it’s still broken as hell. As much as I’d love to High Noon (as McCree) or Kame-Hame-Ha (as Moira) on the go, I want to see the basics worked out before anything else.
