If You Have A Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee Or Pikachu Save, You Can Unlock A Partner Eevee Or Partner Pikachu Spirit In Smash Ultimate

Pokemon Let’s Go and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are Nintendo’s big holiday titles. If you have both games, and a save file for the former, then you will unlock a little surprise in Smash Ultimate. If you have Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee, you can unlock the Partner Eevee Spirit. Owning Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu unlocks Partner Pikachu Spirit.  If you don’t have Pokemon Let’s Go, don’t worry. You can still unlock them by completing challenges. An official tweet about the matter can be seen down below.

    1. Actually, it’s just pissing the rest of us off.

Face it, trophies are gone this time and these static image spirits are next to worthless (apart from boosting your stats against buffed CPU in World of Light.

Just watch LGPE be the ONLY Switch game that gives you extra content in Smash Ultimate.

      1. what would anyone be pissed off for? and how useful were the trophies? and if these are useless why do you care? jesus man get some priorities.

        1. You can’t shame people for liking trophies.

But by all means, go play your copy of Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee.

          Bye, See Ya.

      1. I assume you’re a young guy without kids. I’m a hardcore gamer playing Pokemon with my young daughter. She’s now in love with all things Pokemon. It’s a game that does things like I’ve never seen before, and watching the interactive element of the pokeballs through her eyes has been like magic. I know gamer dads who are now also getting a Switch for it. I have a sister-in-law who has only played Pokemon Go but loves all things Nintendo, she’s now getting a Switch and Pokemon after watching us play, and her gamer boyfriend will be getting Smash for it. All anecdotal, sure, but Nintendo appeals to a far broader audience than other companies. That might not be useful for you, but it’s good for us. I now know more people who own Switches than PS4/X1 simply because I’m in an older demographic with young families.

        1. What the hell makes you think I’m interested in Fortnite, unless you just like shouting out random games for no reason.

    1. I bet so many people are going to buy Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee to get both spirits in Smash Ultimate and then find out later that they could have just unlocked the spirits in the game.

      That’ll be hilarious! 😂

  1. While I’ll miss the 3D model design of the trophies, as long as the summary remains intact, I’m okay with the spirits replacing trophies. (Having 3D models to collect would have been even better, though.)

  2. So it’s like a click bait and people might just jump to buy the other version or one of the versions because of this.
Also to anyone who likes Pokemon Let’s GO, that’s fine but that doesn’t mean that the game is without flaws and others have to enjoy it
My boyfriend bought it and while intuitive, the trainer battles were laughably easy to the point of being repetitive and with the Mew from the pokeball they are even easier.

  3. Hmm.. I’m betting that Nintendo will do this with other games, like for example, if you have Luigi’s Mansion 3 maybe you’ll get an E-Gadd spirit and so on.

  4. This comments section needs to take a quick breath and read the actual story.. these aren’t locked behind the Let’s Go games… it’s just a cool perk if you have them. They are still attainable through completing challenges. If unlocking content upsets you then I feel bad for y’all cuz Smash Ultimate is all about unlocking stuff buy actually playing the game and doing the challenges 😮.
