Video: Here’s The Nintendo Switch Announcement Trailer For Mortal Kombat 11

During this year’s The Game Awards, Nintendo announced that Mortal Kombat 11 is launching on Nintendo Switch on April 23. You can check out the official announcement trailer below, which features the original track Immortal by 21 Savage. The upcoming fighting game is being touted as the next evolution of the iconic franchise. It features all new Custom Character Variations designed to give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. It also utilizes a new graphics engine and is equipped with a roster of both new and returning Klassic Fighters.

    1. I like Mortal Kombat games. I played the classic arcade version. It doesn’t matter whether Mortal Kombat 11 imitated other games in terms of the Custom Character Variations. I think it’s a brilliant feature. Besides, it’s really up to the player.

      1. Unlike certain whiny Nintendo fans, I don’t care if other companies want to imitate others. Whether they like it or not, imitation benefits us all in the long run as it breeds competition & competition means you will strive to be better than the competition. By striving to be better, your customers reap the rewards & benefits that come with it.

  1. This is encouraging. Hopefully this will entice some of the other big fighting game franchises to Nintendo. Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive and Tekken would be great for the Switch.

    1. I have some doubts about being able to port a Tekken game to Switch. It seems they heavily pushed visuals in Tekken 7 to the point the PS4 runs it at slightly less than 900p and the PS4 Pro runs it at 1080p..
