      1. First of all, no fighter on the market uses dedicated servers. It’s all P2P, which is best for fighters, fact.

        Secondly, Stability updates aren’t waste

Lastly, why would you want voice chat in a fighting game. You’re already toxic here, we dont need it in game.

        1. 1. Super Smash Bros is not your average fighting game. Dedicated servers ARE needed because more than 2 people are able to fight at the same time.

          2. Clearly you didn’t see the quotations; when you see those around a word, it usually means the term is being mocked as not being the actual word. Stability updates are needed but Nintendo uses false stability updates to stop people not harming anyone else from hacking their system for things they will use for their own personal purpose & not for anything nefarious.

          3. It’s called the mute button. Stop being a corporate shill & trying to decide for others what optional features they want to have & what optional features they don’t want to have when people like you that don’t like them can ignore such optional features. Don’t like voice chat? Either don’t use it or mute people you don’t want to hear talk. If you lack your own free will to turn off an optional feature and need Daddy Nintendo to keep such a feature away from you, that’s your problem. Grow up & make your own damn decisions.

      1. You can play through the whole game as Fox McCloud, and there are a few Fox-only missions. The Star Fox content is added in quite nicely, and doesn’t really feel tacked on. That said, there isn’t a huge difference between Switch and other versions other than that (plus altered cutscenes to include the gang). I thought it was a decently fun game though, and I enjoyed playing as Fox.

  1. Good Game. Worth playing, especially at dicounted price.

I’m curious to check out this new content. End-game was a bit slim, as is, unless you let the enemy conquer planets on purpose, just to have more to do.

A very fun, though imperfect game. The toys aspect distract from a very solid gameplay core. Story and characters are ‘meh.

I’d love to see a sequel, without the proprietary toy angle. Maybe Nintendo Exclusive, to go all-in on the Starfox tie in angle (or even a Full StarFox game, based on the same engine … I wouldn’t care if I never saw the Starlink Crew again).

    Don’t overlook it.

  2. After playing around with the update, I’ve noticed a few QOL improvements and tweaks not mentioned. Primarily, there are clearer indicators for a few things like status and countdowns. Also, when exploring large wrecks, you can open locked hatches from the inside now, rather than needing to backtrack out already cleared passages. I feel like I am earning upgrade points faster too. Would have been nice 10 hours of gameplay ago.

Still not sure why there are so many sources of electrum though. I already have 50 million (or is it Billion?) with nothing requiring more than a thousand to spend it on. Seriously … I finished the main story and have no idea why there are so many ways to gather absurd quantities of a resource you need so little of. If I could just convert it to mod points, or something actually useful, that would be nice.

… and why can you fast travel to a mothership where you can’t even do anything? Near as I can tell, you can’t even repair broken ships there, unless I’m missing something. You ‘should’ be able to dock, repair your ships and move the ship to advantageous locations … like in StarFox 2, now that I think about it.

I like the game … but it’s odd and incomplete feeling in a lot of ways.
