Atlus is gearing up for a spectacular 2019 with the rumoured ‘Persona 5 R’ and also Shin Megami Tensei V, amongst others. The latest edition of Japanese publication Weekly Famitsu has a special feature which includes a number of New Year’s cards and aspirations from 50 Japanese developers for next year. The cards also contain a special statement from developers and Atlus’s card says the following:
Starting with Catherine: Full Body, we are steadily preparing unannounced new titles. Please look forward to a follow-up report of Shin Megami Tensei V, as well.
Obviously it’s Snowboard Kids.
If only.
never played them but i hear they are good and as someone who isnt big on snowboarding games i want to play them.
1 and 2 on the N64 were gold. SBK for the original DS strayed way too far from the first two- characters had total 180s on their personalities (Nancy and Tommy went from being the two nicest characters to the two meanest), some characters never came back, and everyone was a teenager rather than the 10-year-olds they used to be, so not really *kids*.
Persona Q2 is on that card, so perhaps that’s a sure sign it’s being localized. Not that I thought it wouldn’t, but Atlus’ handling of Strange Journey Redux had me a little worried.
