Rumour: The Witcher 3 Listed For Nintendo Switch By French Wholesaler

A French wholesaler called WTT.biz has recently put up a listing for the acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the Nintendo Switch. Yes, it does seem unlikely that the graphically intensive title would make its way to the Nintendo Switch, but this specific rumour continues to do the rounds. The Witcher 3: wild Hunt was originally released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2015.

  2. I don’t believe it. After the fake Prime Trilogy leak by a retailer, I not believing in these “retailer leaks” again.

    1. Switch is to weak anyway or its downgraded like hell….

Would be nice if its true , another step in the right direction for Nintendo. Now we just need a switch 2 that can compete for another 2 years till the next playstation and xbox are released and nintendo is behind yet again.

      1. I know the Switch lacks graphical punch… But people are quick to undermine it. The Switch spots a 1TFLOPS GPU… quite up to par with the original Xbox One… It’s in the RAM department that Switch really loses punch… 4gb GDDR3 cannot quite compare to the 8GB GDDR3 on the Xbox One and the 8GB GDDR5 on the PS4.

That said, most ports, if well optimized, might work on the Switch… Albeit, with Major Compromises.

My point? Though I don’t believe these Witcher 3 rumors, I don’t agree that it’s not doable.
It will be the worst version in terms of framerate and textures, but it can be done.

    2. Prime trilogy is definitely in the works. It would make no sense to release prime 4 without letting ppl experience the trilogy on switch especially if they want to attract new customers. If they did it for Bayonetta why would they skip Metroid. In regard to the Witcher , I would love to see it but this rumor is highly doubtful.

      1. I do think Prime Trilogy it’s probably going to arrive at Nintendo Switch. However, these ratailers have lose all credibility for me personally.

  3. I hope it’s true, but will definitely need a ramped up switch else it’s gona be downgraded for sure.
Prime trilogy for the summer and then prime 4, Witcher, rdr2 for a ramped up switch last 1/4 of 2019. Dreaming zzz

    1. I want to live in that fantasy world. I do see MP Trilogy coming out in 2019, though. Unfortunately, that may push back MP4 as Nintendo would be able to justify that as something to hold us over.

  4. For those that don’t have the other systems, I hope this comes to Switch. It’s a pretty good game. I spent around 6 months on that game if my memory serves me right. Not because the game was long, per se, but because the game has ALOT of different choices that actually DO effect other shit. Main story quests can lead into side quests. A few side quests can effect the main story. You can actually lead to people either dying or living with some of your choices. And the world is big. And I do mean big! You got 4 different maps to explore & each one is pretty big in & of itself. It’s an open world game done right as the story doesn’t hold the open world factor back nor does the open world hold the story factor back. I really, really wish Aonuma & others had taken more from The Witcher than it’s just a violent game with blood, gore, & sex when it’s much more than that. The main story gets pretty dark, same for the side stories, but they aren’t dark just for the sake of being dark as the darkness of the stories shows just how fucked up this world is. At some points, it shows that the humans can be just as monstrous, if not more so, than the monsters themselves.

  5. (Double post because of the retarded “awaiting moderation” tag, and I don’t got the patience to wait for it to be untagged!)

  6. Retailer leaks work like this:
There’s a rumour that some game like The Witcher 3 comes to Switch. Then some retailer puts the game on their website just in case the rumour is true, so they might sell more copies because they were ready before any other retailer.
