      1. The above comment is not specifically aimed at this particular game.
It is a wonder of where the news of a direct is as it’s news that is hoped for right about NOW!

      1. They did it for Dragon’s Dogma, Dark Souls and the other remasters, videos contribute to create hype and sells products.
While I barely remeber X I defeinitely do not remember the other one. Also if they upgrade textures, etc. it would be a welcome improvement to see.

  2. I know the games aren’t related so it doesn’t really matter but I assumed they’d be starting with VII and going from there, or releasing all the same day. Guess not

      1. Yuna being a pop idol with guns is very unfitting considering her character in X, and the dress sphere just seems like an excuse to putting the trio in cute outfits. Way too early to say anything about the story though.

      2. Don’t get me wrong though, I absolutely loved Yuna in the first game, she became my strongest unit when I used spheres to get Lulu’s strongest elemental attacks, she had so much going for her that she could take on bosses all on her own. I also think she was the most interesting in the story, to me it felt more like her story than Tidus’s. I really hope I can overlook my issues with X-2 like the whole class system.

        1. I felt it was a natural progression for Yuna. She led such a pious life because of her religion & eventually realized it was all a fucking lie to keep the survivors of Sin in check. With that religion exposed, she was finally free to follow her own path & not something set out by Yevon. Leading the life of a fun, giddy pop star, to me, is the exact opposite of leading a humble & quiet pious life. Not to say Yuna isn’t still humble but she’s finally free to come out of her shell a bit more.
