    1. I think everyone has their own opinion of which is the best game. For me, Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are both phenomenal Assassin’s Creed games. I’m actually amazed to how this series has turned out and evolved over many years. I’m expecting more of Assassin’s Creed on Switch and in the future. Thanks for sharing your insight mate.

        1. Unity is as bad as the original Assassin’s Creed? That’s not the impression I got from Unity. For me, in fact, it had the better multiplayer since you could actually do actual story missions with people. I wasn’t a fan of the stealth & assassination only multiplayer of past games. Quite enjoyed the Romeo & Juliet-esque side plot, too. From playing Assassin’s Creed II, I know Assassin’s Creed is probably gonna be a slog to get through. I’d rate Unity above the original, 2, & Brotherhood. As for the best, Syndicate has that title for me right now. (I fucking loved the zip line thing. And the train for a base of operations was pretty cool, too.)

          1. Never really enjoyed the MP, I always got mached with assholes. The parts that I played were decent, but the game was so buggy that I never really got that far.

              1. Still have it, just have to download it. Oh man, it’s been a while since I played it though, 4 some years ago, it was pretty unplayable at the time though.

  1. Assassin’s Creed III. My first game in the now favorite series. Such a great game (aside from the boring Desmond parts). I’ll always think people are crazy that puts Assassin’s Creed III down. It had (in my opinion) one of the most powerful stories. And I definitely loved it more than the Ezio trilogy. Though Black Flag is still my favorite. I’m surprised they don’t bring the entire series to the Switch. I could have lived without Liberation though. That was my least favorite, aside from the first. I’d gladly buy this if it releases in the US. And if it doesn’t, that’s messed up.

      1. It’s released in the US but it’s download only. Since you’ll want it physically, you’ll have to import it on Amazon or any other store site that allows imports. The only downside to importing is you can’t use DLC as DLC, unfortunately, is still region locked, but I don’t think that will be a problem for you.

    1. @ Nintendo vs The World,

Assassin’s Creed III was MY first game in the series, and I fell in love with it. But those beginning parts where it shows Desmond Miles etc. had me SO confused, because I didn’t know who they were. And those parts bored me so bad that I almost quit playing. But once it gets to the historical part of the game (what the game is all about), it gets very interesting. And such beautiful graphics. At that time, this was the first time that I had ever played a game like this, and it had a huge impact on me. Anyone saying that this game sucked has horrible taste in games. I loved the Assassin’s Creed games so much that I bought a PS3 and PS4 just so I could play them all. For myself, the series didn’t start to get really good until III. Though SO many people praise Assassin’s Creed II. That was good, but overrated in my opinion.

If you play this game before Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, you’ll enjoy Black Flag even more. Because of the connection in the stories/characters (Edward Kenway in Black Flag is the father of one of the head villains/templars of A.C. III. Black Flag is a prequel to III).

      1. Sounds like people either love or hate this game lol. Might have to try it out though and see for myself. I love all types of games and usually have a high tolerance even during slow parts or grind-y parts (playing old jpgs will do that lol) so it seems the only real way to know is to try this game out. 😉

  2. ufff ac 3… always the same ac comes to the nintendo console. i bought that piece for the u and its crap.
why not another one… one of these generation.

    1. @DJ,
The only thing that was the “worst” about Assassin’s Creed III was the modern day Desmond parts. Those were so bad that it nearly ruined it. But the historical part had one of the best stories. I loved the father/son story between Connor and Haythem. And the tough decisions Connor had to make.

      1. Not true at all. The absolute crawl of a start, the most boring terrain in the series, one of the worst protagonists in the series, terrible forced stealth sections, the fewest and most linear assassinations in the series, some of the worst side quests/activities in the series, and to cap it all off- one of the worst ways to end a series I have ever seen.

What game could possibly be worse than AC3? Unity? It was busted at launch (just like AC3 for that matter) but once fixed it was actually a decent AC game. It actually went back to the non-linear assassinations of the original game, something that’s been needed for a long time now.

  4. I bought the gold edition of AC Odyssey so I’m getting these on my PS4. Now I just need them to release the original Assassin’s Creed and my collection of AC games on PS4 will be complete. (Screw those Chronicles entries!)

  6. It’ll be dope to play liberation on a handheld that doesn’t feel like it’s going to implode.
I’ve always though assassin’s creed would be perfect for portables. Running on roof tops wherever you go. it’d be fun.
liberation was so close but the sub 30fps just killed everything.
Also please have Rabbid Peach as a dlc character
