  1. Bammm… PS4 tops the switch… the first time since month.
    Two awesome games that skips the switch… and the only game im interested in
    starts from the beginning.
    Sony Rules worldwide and the deserve it.
    The Switch had his highest point and from know on… it will loose more and more.
    Why… no games… sorry yoshi… but another Kids Game… nothing for adults.
    Hmmm yoshi is the only game that comes… Bayonetta 3…. not this year… hmmm.

      1. PS4 doesn’t want the January to end with the Nintendo Switch getting the last laugh. I always had a feeling that Kingdom Hearts 3 will push PS4 and pull the Switch. Yet the Switch is only behind for a couple hundred. I want to see the Switch get back on its feet. I’m curious what the Switch’s next move will be to come back on top.

    1. So PS4 just barely beats the Switch by a few hundred units in a week where 2 huge games are released whilst the Switch has only had a Wii U port as its biggest release this month and you think this means it’s the end for Switch? Riiiight 🙄

      1. its not the end of the switch… but which games will boost the switch again… oops i forgot pokemon… but is that game the only one?
        i only had a radar for mp4.
        thats my game… but it dosent come in the next two years… so what will i gonna play on the switch? i dont want a mario game… f-zero? a real starfox? eternal darkness?
        Kid icarus? Killer instinct?
        we get none of these.

    2. It’s not about kiddy games, that story is old and lame. The Nintendo developers are the ones to blame. Talking 8 to 10 years of a break when immediately need to make more games. That’s why the Switch sells are not the same.

    3. Whatever drugs you are own, please never share. You do realize that both those games might make it onto the Switch right? Calm you buttocks down.

      F=Ma.

      1. Thank you for pointing out the double standards. Kingdom hearts is as much a child’s game as Pokémon and Mario… Mario might even be a bit more mature in certain regards

    1. Will two ways to solve this, either Nintendo needs to tell their developers to make games immediately or come our with a new console to compete with PS5. Otherwise, Nintendo is going to be down in the hive.

  2. If those two games failed to do better than Mario U weeks after Mario U’s launch, I would have been very surprised.

    Honestly, Nintendo hardware and software sales have wildly exceeded my expectations. I expected Switch to sell very well in 2017, but I failed to predict 2018 to be as successful as it was.

    I have no idea what will happen in 2019. Reggie used to say “software sells hardware”… so far we know very little about the biggest 2019 software. Luigi’s Mansion and Yoshi will be solid, but the real big player this year will probably be Pokemon. We know next to nothing about Pokemon so it’s hard to make predictions now that are worth anything.

    1. Pokemon, Liuigs mansion 3, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, and MXD. Bayonetta 3 has a target release date for 2019 and with SMT5 and NMH3 in development the Switch line up is looking fine.

    2. Nintendo will be fine this year. Pokemon alone will probably sell more than any other game on Switch and there will no doubt be a lot of console sales to go along with it. Not to mention Animal Crossing, Yokai Watch, and a few other big hitters this year.

  3. One-two and the Switch is down. Better reply with more (good) games. Let’s Go could have sold better.
    Though I presume it will not last for Sony.

    1. Sony Had to Mega games, and it only outsold the Switch by a few hundred consoles, next week or the next, things return to normal, with the Switch being on top.

      F=Ma.

  4. KH3 is amazing, breath taking graphics and fantastic and diverse gameplay. I played more than 40 hours since its launch, hadn’t played this much on ps4 since persona 5 in 2017.
    Its no1 spot is well deserved and it should stay so for a few weeks imo, this is the among best current gen consoles have to offer and not going to run on switch even in pocket edition
