The latest Japanese Splatfest has been taking place this weekend in Japan. This time the challenge was between Team Boke and Team Tsukkomi. It was Team Boke who came away the winners and secured a 2-1 victory. Team Tsukkomi won the Votes 54.92% – 45.08%. However they lost to Normal rules 50.38% – 49.62%, and the Pro rules 50.74% – 49.26%.
“Boke” and “Tsukkomi” are typical archetype comic duo, equivalent, respectively to “Fool and Straight Man” acts in the west or “Punch and Judy” puppet shows. The Tsukkomi will often reprimand the Boke for his silliness by striking him with an oversized paper fan, which provides a loud and comical sound effect.”

Congrats to Team Boke
I second that motion!
So that’s where they took the team names “Boke” and “Tsukkomi”. I really didn’t pay attention to the group names. The match was more important. And yet, I still wasn’t able to watch it because of the very high ping. If only I wasn’t outside Japan!
What the heck is a boke and what the f is a tsukkomi
I wonder if this has anything to do with the word “baka”
huh.
