UK Charts: Three Nintendo Titles In Top Ten

This week’s UK charts are here and Nintendo continues to make ground in the UK. This week was another big week for gamers as it has seen the release of the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3 from Square Enix on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game shot straight to the charts as many had expected. For Nintendo, there are three Nintendo published Nintendo Switch games in the top ten. Those games are New Super Mario Bros U, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Here is the UKIE/GfK Top Ten for the week ending February 2nd:

  1. Wow. Kingdom Hearts III and Resident Evil 2 are killing it. Not even one of the Nintendo titles managed to get into the top 5 this time. Last week, there was one. Anyway, I’m happy that Grand Theft Auto V still managed to get into UK’s top 10.

  2. Still impresses me how Nintendo manages to have the only single format games in the top 10. Everything else is multi-platform although being the UK I’m guessing the majority are PS4 sales
