Nintendo has unveiled two brief trailers for two of its best-selling Mario titles on Nintendo Switch. You can check out the official “Nintendo Switch Anytime, Anywhere” promos for Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the embedded videos below. They also make mention of Splatoon 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. All of the aforementioned games are now available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop as Nintendo Switch exclusives.
It’s amazing how these Short Trailers would accumulate nearly a million views in just few minutes. Like What manner of sorcery is this?! I guess this is what it means to be the people’s champ in the gaming world. Ain’t that right, Nintendo Switch?
Just release some MK8D DLC already- that will garner almost as many purchases of the game itself with how popular it is and how badly people want more.

While I wouldn’t be against Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, given how long it’s been since that game came out, I’d say it’s very likely Mario Kart 9 is in development. Some people like to point to ARMS but thing is; ARMS is actually almost 2 years old so the team that made that have definitely had the time to work a new Mario Kart.
I’m curious if Nintendo knows those are their best selling games on Switch and know PS5 is right around the corner, why havent they planned Sequels immediately? Doesnt common sense tell you Odyssey 2, Mario Kart 9 and Splatoon 3 can help Switch sells battle the PS5? How a console weaker than current generation going to sell 40million units when PS5 comes out with no sequels being made?
I’m just trying to get some common sense. So Nintendo has no plans for a more powerful Switch, no Metroid, No Starfox, No Splatoon 3, no All New Donkey Kong or a all new Mario 2D or 3D, obviously no Luigi’s Mansion 4 wont be worked on immediately after Luigi’s Mansion 3 debuts, no Mario Rapids 2 from Ubisoft . So with no popular software tittles and no boost in hardware how they going to sell 40million units once PS5 hits?

ps4 gets the last of us 2 and ps5 the prequel and the port of both and then the ps5 gets a new franchise.

Okay, I’m sorry but most of those are too early to comment on. Splatoon 2 hasn’t even been out for 2 years yet, you don’t know if they are not working a new StarFox, they most definitely are working on a new Mario Game because that franchise never stops due to how insanely popular Mario is, and Metroid? Uhm, did you miss the memo about Metroid Prime 4?
The Nintendo Switch has tons going for it so it’s no surprise it’s doing extremely well.
