Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the 22nd season of the incredibly popular animated Pokémon series, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends, coming soon to select local broadcasters. In this latest installment, the iconic duo of Ash and Pikachu continue their adventures in the tropical Alola region as they meet new characters and discover more Pokémon.

Ash has completed three of his four grand trials in the Alola region, and more adventures await as he and his classmates acquire new Z-Crystals, make new Pokémon friends, and learn how to Mantine Surf! In their role as Ultra Guardians, the Pokémon School students take on an important mission to protect Wela Volcano. Ash meets a new rival, Hau, whose Dartrix offers Rowlet quite a challenge. Even Rotom Dex gets an adventure of its own when our heroes visit the set of its favorite TV show! And Professor Kukui’s dream of starting a Pokémon League in Alola just might be getting closer to reality…

There’s smart mature videos that go into the animation and said this is way better animation as it helps the face animations and movement feel like a Disney movie even if they had gone the lazier way. Black & White and X, Y, & Z never had the best animation even when they shiny the humans. Sorry to say. You can say S&M has shit animation and I can disagree with you on that notion. In my opinion? It helped S&M be like modern anime. Pokemon in Japan is games first and anime second.

that’s the thing though, its not garbage. its a comedy but when it has plot/charecter focused episodes they are on par if not surpass x and y. dont let the animation style change fool you. (it nearly got me as well but i gave it a chance, 4 episodes and im glad i did)

You’re not gonna explain why the anime is “UUUGGHHH” Context is your friend dude. Also, XYZ was screwed over by Black & White when the earthquake in Japan killed many people there. The storylines had to change because of that natural disaster and many story arcs which included Team Rocket fighting the villains of Black and White involved mass warfare and destroyed cities. It’s another reason why the anime never showed the moves earthquake outside the main games. Also, the shipping you complain about has always been around since even the beginning when the original anime was planned to end it off with Misty marrying Ash. This is the only anime series in X & Y where it shows a female not only admitting she loves Ash but even kissed him at the end. And keep this in mind they had to work in the anime lore that she and ash knew each other as children and even back then she loved him. So it wasn’t shipping bullshit. This was planned from the beginning. Please, next time when you comment on these news articles give out full reasons why you think the anime is so UUUGGHHH!
