The developers behind A Hat in Time, Gears for Breakfast, have announced on Twitter that the Seal the Deal downloadable content will be available for the Nintendo Switch version of the charming 3D platformer. It doesn’t seem to be included with the base game and it looks set to be paid DLC. However, that hasn’t been confirmed as of yet and neither has a release date for the Nintendo Switch version. Here’s what Seal the Deal DLC includes:
- An all-new chapter: The Arctic Cruise
- A new incredibly difficult mode: Death Wish!
- Local split-screen co-op! (free for everyone!)
- Six new Time Rifts!
- A ton of outfits, flairs, dyes and even camera filters!
Jonas Kærlev has been quite harsh against paid DLC, saying stuff like that should be free; and it was for a time on PC and Kickstarter backers.
He also passive aggressively hinted that his game is better than Super Mario Odyssey xP So people should have high expectations when going in on this game. It is good though!

This was never confirmed for Wii U. They expressed WANTING it on Wii U and that Nintendo had contacted them. They never had a dev kit so it was never confirmed. Humble Bundle got them a switch dev kit so now they can put it on Switch.
