A special Spring 2019 Splatfest, where Team Tortoise battled Team Hare in Splatoon 2, has come to a close earlier tonight. However, don’t expect the results to be similar to the classic story that was originally written many decades ago. In the Splatfest, Team Tortoise was the one to get an early lead, only for Team Hare to come back and win by a score of 2-1. A tweet relaying the news is down below.

I’m….kinda appalled.
But I’m okay since Tortoise won Popularity, the only thing that should matter in Splatfests in hindsight. Cause even if you win or lose, everyone still gets the same amount of seasnails, right? Depending on how much you played, of course.
Winning team gets a few more sea snails than the losing team
Why are you appalled? Because the hare won? I ront think it was more so about the story more about who would win period the hare has speed thats the obvious answer
