Rumour: A Pokemon Pass Mobile App Could Launch Soon Giving Away Pokemon

Update: It’s now available in the US.

It seems as though The Pokemon Company is gearing up to release a brand new smartphone app which is titled, Pokemon Pass. As the name implies, it seems to be a simple way for the The Pokemon Company to distribute various Pokemon to fans. The app will allow users to scan QR codes to initially get Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee! Marketing for the Pokemon Pass was spotted in Target by Twitter user @Tsukento and the messaging states that the promotion will be begin on 11th May, so the app is sure to either launch on that specific date or just before. However, The Pokemon Company have yet to announce the app.

  1. At first I thought this said Pokemon GOLF. And for a brief moment, I was interested. Made me realize that a Pokemon Golf game would be pretty fun (as long as it had the play control of Mario Golf). Been too darn long since a major console version of Mario Golf released (3DS don’t count).
