Take-Two Says Civilization VI On Nintendo Switch Outperformed Expectations

Take-Two held their earnings call earlier this evening and with it came some encouraging news. The company says that Civilization VI, which launched last autumn on the Nintendo Switch platform, outperformed the company’s initial expectations. It is not clear how many copies were sold, but hopefully there will be more to come from the Civilization series on the Nintendo Switch in the future.

    1. Really? My favourite games in the franchise are IV and V. I feel those are where they really got their shit together… I haven’t played VI yet cause I haven’t finished with V yet.

  1. CIv6 works incredibly well on Switch – I say that as a long-time fan who played every Game in the series. Never would have expected that. I hope the addons come soon.

  2. I’m surprised it’s doing well. I refuse to buy the game unless they release all the expansions, but I guess most people dont care about playing a very inferior version of the game.

  3. As someone who doesn’t care for these kinds of games because they aren’t interesting to me I’m glad its doing well and I’m glad this game is on Switch.
