June 23, 2019, happens to be an important day for Sega. Not only is it Olympic Day — it’s also the 28th birthday of the publisher’s chief mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. As a way to celebrate, Sega has shared a couple of commemorative images — a screenshot from Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and a special happy birthday sketch dedicated to the iconic blue character.
