  1. Definitely one of the best Harvest Moons. I’m kinda happy they decided to remake a great one instead of creating an entirely new entry that might’ve turned out just “okay”^^ The chances for that to happen dropped dramatically with this announcement.

  2. I’m really excited that this is getting a remake. I enjoyed this game when i played it. I’m curious if there will be any new additions to the game or if it’s the same.

  3. Ultimate Super Buu

My favorite Harvest Moon is A Wonderful Life for GameCube and since the GBA original version of this game was paired up the GameCube game maybe this will be close enough to be the next best thing to Wonderful Life getting remade.

  4. Holy shit, the screenshots looks so bad. Are you sure it’s the developers of Story of Seasons that are working on this??
We waited 2.5 years for them to finally reveal the Story of Seasons game they announced to be in development before the launch of the Switch, and this is what we get? Absolutely disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong, Friends of Mineral Town was a great game, one of the best Harvest Moon games probably. But the visuals are legit garbage.

    1. Natsume is the owner of Harvest Moon, so it would be logical that they’re the ones doing it and not the people from Story of Seasons

      1. No. The developers of Story of Seasons (Marvelous) are the same ones that worked on the original Harvest Moon games, including the original Friends of Mineral Town, Natsume was only the publisher for the series. Some shit happened and Marvelous stopped licensing their games to Natsume in 2012, but Natsume owns the Harvest Moon name, which is why the original developer, Marvelous, had to continue the series under a different name, Story of Seasons.
It’s a confusing situation for sure, but yeah, that’s what happened.

  5. I hear this is a remake of Back to Nature but the story is slightly different. Instead of the old man being his grandfather, it was just some kind man that helped him get back to his parents when he got separated from them and became lost. I’d rather have the original story get a remake.

  6. It’s not a remake, it came out around the same time as the GameCube game. It also had unlockable content through the link cable.

    1. I don’t think so, the new Zelda has a very polished toy look, while this is just a normal 3D chibby look.
