A new combatant has been revealed for the popular Mortal Kombat 11 and it’s Sindel. The female character made her debut in Mortal Kombat 3 and appears to be set to return as a downloadable content character in the most recent entry in the long-running franchise. Check out Sindel’s render below.

  1. Surprised she isn’t covered head to toe like a majority of the rest of the women’s default outfits. lol Could WB actually be ignoring those agenda pushers now? Find out in the next episode of Dragon Ball Z!!

    1. Agenda pusher? Good lord, they just gave female characters better more distinctive outfits. Before they just all once piece/face over or whatever. Why is everything some conspiracy to gamers? There is a bigger audience than ever in gaming right now. Designs change. It’s not a big deal.

      1. Well if that bigger audience doesn’t like what games like Mortal Kombat, Senran Kagura, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, etc do, here is a radical, unheard of thought: they can go buy something else that pertains to their sensibilities instead of demanding everything to change to suit their agenda.” And it’s not a conspiracy but a foregone conclusion. If you don’t see all of the attempts from certain companies to eliminate s.e.xualization from games, movies, anime, etc, I don’t think you’ve been paying attention. I guess you must have missed the article here mentioning how a bunch of agenda pushers/woke culture/outrage culture idiots cried foul at a Persona 5 song on Smash Ultimate for what they thought was the word “retarded.” Of course you did. That article alone would prove how ignorant you are to what’s going on. Just like those idiots screaming Captain Marvel & Black Panther were the best movies ever because they had a strong female & a black character ignore how there were tons of movies before those with strong female & black characters because it wouldn’t fit their agenda/narrative that everyone hating Captain Marvel, Ghostbusters 2016, Black Panther, etc are just men who hate women or are scared of female empowerment. Funny. People didn’t have an issue with Aliens, Terminator 2, Blade, Shaft, etc. Then there is Square Enix’s so called Ethics Department making them censor Tifa in the FF7 Remake in the name of whatever bullshit they are saying. Then there is Sony censoring games, too. But no, no. You keep believing it’s “just a conspiracy.” Maybe some day that bubble you are living in will be popped when you say something one of these retards doesn’t agree with & they start calling you shit you aren’t. Or when a company executive says people like you are women haters. I just hope by then that it’s not too late and you don’t have to fight an uphill battle against these “woke” corporations like some people on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc have to.

      1. Sorry. If you want an echo chamber of “social justice”, woke”, etc and want people that have a different opinion to shut up, you’ve come to the wrong place. Better go to Kotaku or Polygon. We aren’t a hive mind here & everyone has different opinions. I don’t agree with xenobladesite up there but I won’t tell her to shut up.

  2. Speaking realistically, it doesn’t make sense for women to fight in skimpy clothing with very little metal protection… particularly if you compete in Mortal Kombat. So in that regard, I understand the rationale for the design.

But a few feminists have called out WB saying that the woke women are over-sexualized and too scantily dressed. The design change seemed like a victory to the woke.

  3. When you got fighters with magical powers or strength that allows them to punch threw brick walls, are we seriously saying that the armor on some of these women is suddenly gonna do something? lol Then there is the fact there are still plenty of guy characters with skin showing & hardly any armor. They are full of shit with that “we just want to be more realistic with the clothing.” Then there is the fact certain fighting styles require as little clothing as possible. If you are a brawler or wrestler type, you don’t want a lot of clothes on that gives your opponent a lot to grab onto when you are slamming them into the ground with a power bomb or something. Hell! Raiden uses electricity to fight! Have fun with that metal armor on when fighting that guy!

  4. She is looking dope! MK11 has so many clothes and some of them are really great, feels like a huge demostration of the creativity they had to have to change characters visual in every interaction of the game. I can only imagine how hard it must be for the artists, so major kudos to all of the artists that worked in this franchise!
