UK: Super Mario Maker 2 is No.1 for third week in a row

It is the start of a new week which means it is time to see which video games have resonated most with gamers such as myself saleswise in the United Kingdom this week. It has been another good week for Nintendo as the Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Mario Maker 2 has once again managed to keep Multiplatform title Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled off of the top spot. Also of note is Dragon Quest Builders 2, which has made its debut at No.5. The game sold the most amount of units on the Nintendo Switch.

Here is the UKIE/GfK Top Ten for the week ending July 13th:

  1. I expect MM2 to be in the charts for quite some time.
Put simply, if you have a switch you should definitely get this game or if you don’t have one then this is a very good reason to get one.
I’m finding it truly incredible the amount of effort people are putting into creating levels, some of them are just crazy good.
I recently played a level that involves guiding a goomba to the finish line and just thought what a cool idea.
I love this game and have spent so much time with it already and I haven’t even played story mode or made any levels myself. Without a doubt one of the very best value for money games out there.
