Microsoft has seen money in Nintendo platforms and cannily wants to be part of the success which is why we’ve seen Banjo in Super Smash Bros Ultimate plus the critically acclaimed Cuphead and possibly Ori and the Blind Forest on the Nintendo Switch. It’s clearly a good move for everyone, the team at Microsoft, the team at Nintendo, and most importantly, the fans. Speaking to Video Game Chronicles , Conker Creator, Chris Seavor, believes it is only a matter of time before Rare IP arrives on the Nintendo Switch. Here’s his thoughts.
“It is significant, very significant but it was also inevitable,” he said of the possibility that classic Rare IP could return to Nintendo platforms. “You only have to look at the reaction to Banjo’s appearing in Smash to see that this was purely a fan driven thing, and fans are if nothing else a noisy and belligerent bunch. I mean, it’s an abbreviation of ‘Fanatic’ after all.
“Whether they’ll be as loud about the other IP’s including Conker is up for debate… I’d say not likely.”
Rare Replay confirmed for the Switch
That’d be really nice. Does RR have both Banjo games? I wanna play them at some point, and maybe they’d add the Donkey Kong games as well
It has all three Banjo Games and I believe the original Conker’s Bad Fur Day
Rare Replay has Banjo Kazooie, Tooie and Nuts and Bolts in it.
they also made killer instinct. :D
Either they:
-Significantly tone down the raunchiness (swearing, drugs, beer, excrement, blood, gore, sex, etc.)
-Revive the Conker’s Twelve Tales branding
-Or make Mr. Nutz relevant again for modern 3D platformers.
Otherwise, I’m not interested.

I’d gladly get loud for Conker. Conker’s bad Fur Day is one of my favorite games on the N64. The only thing that bugged me about Bad Fur Day is how the same guy provided the voices for most of the characters in the game. That’s as bad as South Park. Every character sounded the same pretty much, aside from a few.
I wonder if Killer Instinct will appear on Switch. I’d love to see all of Rare’s IP’s return to Nintendo platforms. I hope Rare Replay comes to th Switch (physically). And by the way, when will the physical version of Cuphead release on Switch? I’m eagerly awaiting that.
Everyone is talking about Action Replay on the Switch. It would be very appropriate considering that over half the games are N64 games. With some NES and SNES games as well.
Plus, Nintendo could get the definitive release with all four of Rare’s Donkey Kong Country games.
PLEASE!!! I literally bought an XBOX One just so I could get the Rare Replay collection and replay Conker. Remaster it, make a sequel, I don’t care, I’ll buy it! JUST GIVE ME MORE CONKER!
