If you are shelling out for the Nintendo Switch Lite which launches on 20th September then it could be a good idea to get a case if you are planning to take it out and about with you on your travels. Nintendo has recently announced a special flip case for the upcoming dedicated handheld system and it seems rather snazzy. It protects the whole system when its not in use and it is due out on 1st November. A western release hasn’t been announced by the Kyoto-based company, but you could always import it via Amazon etc. Here’s a few photos of the case in action!
Why didn’t they make something like this for the regular thats looks clean, and it doesn’t look complicated to use.

i would say not likely given the placement of the thumb sticks and the case. besides if i’m not mistaken the Switch lite runs smaller than regular one in size.

They have plenty of cases for the regular Switch anyway. I have the Zelda blue one.
