Nintendo has announced that there will be a Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow at 3pm PT / 11pm UK time. The Direct will focus on Nintendo Switch games due out this year The games due to be showcased include Pokemon Sword and Shield and Luigi’s Mansion 3, amongst others. The Nintendo Direct will be roughly 40 minutes long.

Yeah, I’m sick of wanting Mother 3. I don’t understand what Nintendo’s problem is with localizing that game and bringing it to the Switch. If that ever happened, I hope it’s a physical release, but I know it probably won’t be. Which will still feel as if it never released. Now I’m complaining for the possible future.

I’m hoping something exciting to be announced at the end of direct. I just know it. I hope its a new Star Fox game or maybe kid Icarus. I know this direct is gonna announced the SNK DLC character for smash.
A new Kid Icarus would be heaven for me.
Or heck even just a Switch version of Uprising so more people would get to play it.
I don’t mind for the 3DS game gets ported to Nintendo Switch. I’m hoping for Sakurai planning for the series new game and be on Nintendo Switch. Also I know a new Star Fox game won’t be announced at the end of this direct so what’s the point.
It will definitely have some stuff that isn’t out this year. Would at least expect a bit more of animal crossing and perhaps something new we haven’t seen before

Yeah, but Overwatch was release in May 2016 and Nintendo Switch didn’t came along in that time before the October 2016 reveal trailer.
I know this but then in 2017 the Switch came out and in the first year the Switch showed that isn’t just a tablet as many thinked back then. Personally Overwatch should have been on the Switch in 2018. Now the level of attention on that game isn’t the same as it was in 2016/2017

Smash and Pokemon get tons of regular news updates leading up to their release and AC gets barely any :*(
I was hoping for a direct similar to last year’s (which was LM3 reveal, LM1 & Super Star Saga remakes, news on Yoshi & Smash, Online Service reveal, , and AC Coming 2019 reveal)…
Here’s some stuff I am hoping for that we could still get:
Some remastered ports like Paper Mario or other Gamecube Classics
Online Service Anniversary:
– Announcing many big SNES will be playable with online service starting this month
– Many games updated to have online, including Mario Party updated to have online boards and 2 new boards for DLC, and Mario Maker update adds coop for any level, unranked versus with friends, and race mode (basically just versus except you can just see a silhouette of the other player but they don’t affect your course playthrough)
Limited Edition Consoles for upcoming games like Pokemon, LM3, and maybe even AC? (always best to have consoles come out before Black Friday/Christmas, even if the game isn’t coming out until early next year)

Sunshine 2 is perhaps the least likely prediction I’ve ever heard. HD remaster…. *maybe*. Sunshine is the least successful mainline Mario game ever made. It sold barely more than the Wii U titles, but with a significantly larger console install base to sell to. There is no way they’d spend the resources to make a direct sequel when they could make Odyssey 2 instead for the same effort. Especially when modern kids know what Mario Odyssey is, but have no idea what Sunshine is. You’d be doing your branding from scratch.
Thats actually not true super mario 64 did kinda get a remaster for the ds, and with the lastest remaster links awakening for the switch it kinda makes your point even weaker, but I be honest I rather have odyssey 2 because odyssey would have more variety than just being on a beach in sunshine, plus delfino island could be in the sequel where objective is to collect sunsprites though I wonder what would be the plot of odyssey it would be nice to see peach and mario plan there perfect wedding together only to have bowser come in and not allow it to happen after all looking through the odyssey sketch book they did have plans to finally marry peach and mario off.
That Animal Crossing part isn’t true the devs at e3 said they will show off more content when they feel like its ready to be shown, plus animal crossing has had there own directs like the new leaf dlc direct and the pocket camp direct they usually occur in the fall so I’m not expecting to see any new horizon content till it has it own direct in october or november. (Btw I like your wish direct list its actually pretty decent)

Both is fine. SNK had a big impact on the industry as a whole. King of Fighters is Super Smash before Super Smash, and we know Sakurai played those games on arcades, so it might have been a big influence for him creating the series. They at least deserve some representation imo. Fighter characters are not that special in the eyes of Smash, I do agree, but Terry deserve it.

Yeah, I’m there for the new announcements. 40 minutes will probably be 30 minutes with Luigi and Pokémon, a few minutes with Banjo or something else we know about (he will probably have a release quite soon so nothing will shock us there). I just am really excited for those SNK-rumors. I really hope we’ll get Terry!
