Arc System Works has announced a number of new characters for the fast and frantic BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. The characters are Celica A. Mercury from BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Elizabeth from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Tohru Adachi from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Hilda from Under Night In-Birth, and Susanoo from BlazBlue: Central Fiction (Thanks Gematsu) The Version 2.0 update will be available for download on 21st November which includes a variety of character tweaks. You’ll be able to purchase the Version 2.0 Content Pack on the very same day and it comes with “nine additional playable characters, a new scenario, and new character interactions and colours.”

I’m guessing the characters shown in the thumbnail are the new fighters. So you’ve got two cool-looking female fighters, some dark knight character, and then some shmuck in a suit and tie. He looks so out of place compared to the rest of them.
Then again, this IS coming from someone who has a similarly-designed character (a neckbeard who wears a suit and a fedora) for his own fighting game, which would look odd next to a fighter wearing snake-like armor, a cyborg with a visor, neck brace, and chest-mounted life support system, and a gunslinger decked out in bandoliers and combat boots.
