Nintendo has confirmed that Rainbow Road will feature in the Tokyo Tour in Mario Kart Tour for iOS and Android devices. It would appear though it is the Super Nintendo version of the classic Rainbow Road. You will also be able to play as Rosalina when the update becomes available today at 11pm PT which is 7am tomorrow in the United Kingdom.

I never liked Rosalina very much because I always thought she was a Peach copycat. When Super Mario Galaxy first released, I thought she WAS Peach, but a Peach from a different universe or something. But it didn’t play out that way. I often wondered why Nintendo made her look so much like Peach. I wish Pauline would get more spotlight. Although she’s not very exciting as a mayor.

Everybody has their opinion on the characters of a franchise. We cannot hate someone just because he thinks a character isn’t cool or is a sort of clone of another one.
Rosalina is suppose to be the Daughter of Mario & Peach or Luigi & Peach, for the fans who believes in the love story of Luigi with Peach, but still now Rosalina origins is a mistery to us. I personally prefer Peach over Daisy and Rosalina but this is just my opinion.
There’s an optional story book that suggests that Rosalina is an alternate Peach’s Daughter. It’s why she stresses how things repeat itself but always slightly different, as the current Peach never got married. Nintendo said in an interview they original planned to reveal a large toe between Peach and Rosalina and decided against it in the end. They felt that they rather spend more time making more levels then cut scenes and stuff of the sort for a Mario game.
It’ll be cool to see a Rainbow Road in Tour though tbh I’d prefer the N64 version (or any of the others that came after it) over this one. It’s not bad, I just think the N64 one was awesome.
