A short Witcher 3 frame rate test shows decent performance on Nintendo Switch

It is hard to believe that The Witcher 3 will be with us tomorrow on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Some lucky customers have already gotten ahold of the huge RPG and have been conducting short frame rate tests and one of these has been shared by Pixelacos Gameplays. The test has only been conducted on the White Orchid area of the game, but it shows a stable 30fps while galavanting around the area. While some more demanding areas take frame rate hits, as they do on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it doesn’t seem to be something to be overly concerned about right now. Hopefully Digital Foundry will deliver the definitive answer when their video goes live.

  1. I want to buy and play this so bad after avoiding on other consoles for so many years but those funds arent looking too friendly right now lol hopefully there’s a black Friday sale in store for this one.

  2. I think it’s pretty much a guarantee that The Witcher 4 will happen. The third entry was a breakout hit for the studio and arguably the biggest Western RPG hit in years. Plus, the TV show is probably going to renew interest in the game. Unless Cyberpunk 2077 is the biggest bomb in video game history, I think it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll be seeing games from CDPR for years to come.
