IGN reveals their Game of the Year 2019 nominees

IGN, the worlds most popular video gaming website, has published its Game of the Year 2019 nominees. We have had some great games this year on multiple platforms and IGN’s list this year seems fairly solid with some big hitting titles from all systems including the Nintendo Switch, which had a bumper year this year. Check out their nominees below:

  • Resident Evil 2 Remake
  • Slay the Spire
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
  • Outer Wilds
  • Fire Emblem Three Houses
  • Disco Elysium
  • Control
  • Pokemon Sword/Shield
  • The Outer Worlds
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake
  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

    1. Yeah after how many articles went out crying about Kojima pandering I feel like every other outlet doing goty is gonna avoid death stranding like a plague so they don’t get accused too lmao

      1. Death Strabdung does not deserve an award for game if the year either LOL. I’d rather wait to see next years contenders than worry about anything that cane out this year.

    2. IGN was never going to give DS a nomination. They’re one of the few major publications that gave it a mediocre score. A 6.something if I remember correctly.

  1. The Resident Evil 2 Remake is one of the best games I’ve played the whole gen. The rest of the tear was pretty meh.

    1. Of course, with that one IGN guy crying about white phosphorous being used as a kill streak in the game, I can see why IGN would give it the middle finger since they are apparently jumping on the woke bandwagon. (No wonder the site has become a joke. Can’t spell ignorant without IGN, right?)
