For the first time this year, Nintendo is promoting the summer launch of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan. What may surprise you is that they’re promoting it with a music video. The music video features the song “We Are Born To Play” by Galantis and Charli XCX. Nintendo of America has tweeted the music video, so we’ve included their tweet for you to check out down below.

It’s like a fever dream where everyone gets raptured via green pipes and heaven is the Mushroom Kingdom. Also dystopia vibes.
Imagine being a goomba and seeing 100s of people dressed up as Mario running towards you at full speed.

The music sure didn’t give me any video game vibes. Except the short part where the Mario music was playing. Nintendo needs to make an actual game series called Super Nintendo World. Like, collections of Super Nintendo games with modern graphics etc. I’d sure love to see a remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars. That game was SO darn good.
Yeah….but they won’t.
