The latest Famitsu video game software and hardware sales charts have come through from Japan and there’s a new entry at No.1. That new entry is the recently released Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX for the Nintendo Switch which sold an impressive 138,548 units. The Nintendo Switch family of systems sold 50K this week.

Why did the regular Switch only sell 4k?

What is Nintendo ‘s plan? They don’t make sequels immediately, there is no Switch Pro, two powerful systems are coming out, there is no direct and Nintendo just acts like they can sell this console without making games.
I’m curious how is Switch going to maintain 3rd party support once the developers move to Series X and PS5?

Their plan? Their plan is Animal Crossing, Breath of the Wild 2, Shin Megami Tensai, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Bravely Default 2 to name a few. There seems to be a new Switch game released daily just not from Nintendo. Just because there hasn’t been a direct doesn’t mean Nintendo doesn’t have a plan. Besides we have a pandemic happening as we speak and who’s to say that Nintendo is maybe treading lightly due to the virus issue. Maybe they feel they shouldn’t toot their horn while the world deals with this virus issue. Perhaps it’s why they are a little quite lately.
Don’t pay him any mind. He’s been harping about this crap for a year or two now. I think someone broke him.

No I’m not sure about Pikman 4 😥. My guess is it’s still happening at some point.
They probably lied in 2015. He could had put that on Wii U in 2016 and gave Switch Pikmin 5. I say he didnt work on it because if he did we be playing it by now just like Yoshi Wooly world and Switch got a Sequel and jus th like Splatoon and Switch got a sequel. Virus or no virus still dont matter.

Luigi Mansion 2 and 3 are years apart.
DK returns and Tropical Freeze are years apart.
Metroid 3 and Metroid 4 are years.

I really do hope we get Pikmin 4 too though. I’d like a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD and a Pikmin Trilogy to come out especially since I missed Pikmin 2 totally and didn’t get a lot of time with 3.

The main Switch console is certainly seeing supply constraints with COVID-19. Why? They don’t make games but every 8 years. It’s the games that sell hardware. But since they dont make games but every 8 years soon Switch sells will decline with or without no virus. Where is Pikmin 4 that was near completion back in 2015?
Why mention it if you dont have plans to release it? That’s stupid to mention a game you never worked on claim it is near complete and no mention of it.
