The extensive and well-reviewed JRPG Octopath Traveler has managed to shift an impressive two million copies on the Nintendo Switch system. 1. Such a great game. I hope they make a new one. I liked this a lot more than Bravely Default (not dissing BD, it’s just my personal tastes).

    At the very least, they could try some more “2D HD” games.

    1. I prefer Octopath overall but I would love it if they combined the two. Have the HD 2D aesthetic but instead of pixel art they go for BD’s storybook look.
      Then have Octopath’s amazing combat while doing a more traditional RPG story like BD (without the pacing issues and repetition of course).
      I think both games would cover each other’s weaknesses quite well.

  2. 2 million copies sold, and I do not even have one. The Nintendo Switch is what every gamer ever wanted. A system with amazing content. Thanks Square Enix and Nintendo.

    F=MA.
