NIS America and Game Informer have announced today that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will be arriving in North America on Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game will be getting an earlier release on the PlayStation 4 which is scheduled to be released this fall. There will be a day one edition available which is titled the Frontline edition and also a special limited edition version.
“This title holds an important place as the end of the Cold Steel series and the mid-point of an overall story that began with Trails in the Sky,” explains Nihon Falcom president and producer Toshihiro Kondo. “We’ve hinted at various mysteries since Trails in the Sky and all of those related to the Erebonian Empire will be revealed here.”
So 2021 yet another winning year of Nintendo and the amazing Switch.

So their not planning to bring the first two to switch ? I never played the second one so I can’t play 3 yet.
Pretty sure that someone else has the license for the first two games.

That’s not news but fact. Xseed owns the rights to the first two Cold Steel games along with all three Sky games. Why they won’t release any of them on Switch is anyone’s guess.
Why does it keep redirecting me to other sites whenever I visit an article w/o the app?
I’ve had the same issues when I visit using my phone but I have zero issues when it comes to desktop browser because I use adblocker. Anyways I was going to wait on preordering the special edition on NIS America store but I decided to preorder because I regretted not doing it for the special editions of YU-NO on Switch and Atelier Ryza on Switch.
It’s been happening for me as well on desktop depending on the browser and ad blocking. I think one of the ADs must have some spam in it redirecting the pages.
